Hailing from Vancouver, Canada, Laudae is the answer for brides looking for forward-thinking gowns that are just that: forward-thinking in style & forward-thinking for our environment. They offer modern wedding gowns for the conscious, spirited babe in all of us; which is why we have fallen in love with Laudae and we think you will too.

Born in 2016, all Laudae bridal gowns are designed and handmade to order in their Vancouver studio. They pride themselves on designing rad gowns that celebrates the bride in them. The Laudae collection is full of figure-hugging silhouettes with unique, eye-catching details. Laudae has always been a brand to celebrate curves, which is why they’re beyond thrilled to celebrate straight sizes & plus sizes. They have worked closely with their curve fit models to determine small changes with maximum impact. Laudae has a diverse collection which includes dresses for both the romantic and the sultry.

Commitment to Sustainability

We love a designer that offers good vibes and beautiful, modern, and unique wedding dresses, but we really love when said designer does so in a way that is sustainable and environmentally conscious. Laudae is committed to reducing waste and reducing the impact their business has on the environment and their community. Due to their commitment to responsibly sourcing and minimizing their environmental footprint on the planet, they have never and will never have Laudae dresses produced overseas. That is also why all Laudae dresses are made to order, it is less wasteful and they won’t make a dress that has not been ordered.

The Laudae team never hangs on to fabric that is not currently needed for the production of one of their dresses. If they have excess fabrics, they typically work with the local fashion students and design schools to donate them. They also make a point to donate or recycle dresses that are no longer “useful,” whether they are old samples or gowns that were used in styled shoots or trunk shows. Bonus - they use recycled materials in the designs of their dresses as well. All Laudae gowns are lined in recycled polyester. Who doesn’t love wearing something they look great in and they can feel good about?
