A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A STRIKING STYLIST:

• assist with opening + closing duties making sure the shop is beautifully put together and ready for a day of appointments

• create a 5-star experience for our brides + their group from initial phone call to preserving their gown after the big day

• style brides from head to toe during private one on one appointments + help them find their dream wedding day look

• answer phones + respond to emails to make sure our brides have all the information they need from us

• assist the team with keeping the shop clean with eye catching gown + accessory displays

• attend bi-weekly team meetings + monthly trainings to stay up to date and informed on what’s happening in the shop

• attend chicago bridal market twice a year (march + august) and assist the team with selecting new inventory for the shop (weekend bridal stylists are invited to market, but not required to attend)

REQUIREMENTS:

• passionate about inclusivity and celebrating all love

• excellent verbal and written communication skills

• 2+ year commitment to growing with our team

• preference for working in a fast-paced, woman-run, entrepreneurial environment

• excellent time management + multi-tasking skills

• highly organized + strong attention to detail

• love for learning, personal growth, and willingness to change/adapt in order to succeed

• not required, but preference will be given to candidates with bridal and/or luxury sales experience
